Hello happy people!

I wanna share about my yoga journey in this post. One day in the middle of June 2020, I got pain on my neck and shoulder because I was trying new exercise. It has shorter duration than the exercise I did before, which I thought it could be easier, although it was harder and more challenging. Then I searched on YouTube how to release neck and shoulder tension, and I found this video from Yoga With Kassandra YouTube channel. It helped me in releasing the tension of my neck. I took a look of her channel and lucky me I found 30 days morning yoga challenge. Without any hesitation, I subscribed the newsletter to jump into the challenge.

The first day was on June 18th 2020, the practice took around 10 minutes each day. After finishing the challenge, I felt so proud of myself hahaha. Like, oh my god, I really made it. I decided to add yoga practice as one of my daily routines. Mostly I do yoga in the morning before starting the day and sometimes in the evening before going to bed.

I challenged my body with beginner level practice. One day, I met pigeon pose, this pose is aimed to open the hips. On the first try of pigeon pose in yin yoga, it was painful and really uncomfortable. But now, pigeon pose in one of my favorite poses!

I found that yoga brings advantage for my body and soul. I feel healthier and happier. Now I can take the practice up to 60 minutes. Occasionally I join online or offline yoga class. I don’t know why after taking online/offline class with yoga teacher, my body must sore the day after. May because of the teacher corrects my pose, so the joints, nerves, and muscles work properly.
